The terms for using IAAA Vantage.

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using IAAA Vantage, you agree to these Terms of Use and the policies they incorporate, including the Privacy Notice and Legal & Disclaimers page. If you do not agree, do not use IAAA Vantage.

IAAA Vantage currently has no live checkout — access is invite-only and granted directly. A paid tier is being prepared, including payment from outside India. When that checkout goes live, acceptance of these Terms and of the Refund & Cancellation policy will be built into it as an explicit step at the point of purchase, not assumed from continued use.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. IAAA Vantage is built for adults preparing for a professional certification and is not designed or marketed for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and account creation is currently invite-only and administered manually, which limits this risk in practice.

IAAA Vantage is operated from India and is offered to customers in India and in most other countries.

The Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™ does not currently offer IAAA Vantage to residents of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, and use of the platform by residents of those regions is not permitted. Paid access will not be sold to a billing address in those regions, and an account identified as belonging to a resident of them may be closed.

This is a deliberate limitation and we would rather say why than leave it looking arbitrary. Offering a paid service into those regions carries obligations — among them appointing a local representative and putting specific data-transfer arrangements in place — that a product of this size cannot yet discharge properly. We would rather not serve those regions than serve them while claiming a compliance position we have not actually reached. If that changes, this section changes with it.

Where you are responsible for complying with your own country's laws in using IAAA Vantage, that responsibility remains yours.

IAAA Vantage accounts are personal to you. In using an account, you agree to:

• provide a reasonably accurate email address for sign-in and communication;
• keep your sign-in access secure and not share it with anyone else;
• report any suspected unauthorized access to your account promptly so it can be investigated.

IAAA Vantage uses passwordless, email-based sign-in (a one-time code sent to your address, which you type on the sign-in screen) — there is no password to protect, but the security of your email inbox is still yours to maintain.

Access windows. Access to IAAA Vantage is granted for a limited period. An invited beta account receives ninety days by default, counted from the date of the invite; an administrator may extend that, set a different date, or grant unlimited access on a particular account. Paid access, once it exists, is also for a defined period stated at the point of purchase.

This is a property of your account, not of the beta programme. The beta itself has no fixed end date. Your ninety days can therefore run out while the beta is still going, and the beta could equally end before your ninety days are up — the two are counted separately and neither one extends the other.

Whichever period applies, it begins running from the date access is granted or communicated to you, whether or not you sign in, and continues running regardless of how much — or how little — you actually use IAAA Vantage during it. IAAA is not responsible for, and will not extend, refund, or otherwise compensate for, an access window that lapses because you did not sign in during the period, signed in only near the end of it, or otherwise did not make use of the access you were given. If you are unsure when your access expires, check the "Access until" indicator shown in the app while signed in.

Free beta access, and how it can end. IAAA Vantage is currently offered free of charge to a limited, invited group. Free beta access is granted at IAAA's discretion as a courtesy — it is not a purchase, it is not a subscription, and it does not entitle you to continued access, to a particular feature set, or to any refund or credit, because nothing has been paid. IAAA may end or withdraw free beta access at any time, including before any stated period has run out. In practice this will normally be for one of the following reasons: the beta programme concludes or moves to paid access; the account has been inactive for an extended period; these Terms have been breached; or the product, or a part of it, is changed or withdrawn.

Where free beta access is being ended for reasons unconnected to any breach — the beta concluding, or a move to paid access — IAAA will make reasonable efforts to tell you in advance at the email address on your account, so you are not surprised mid-preparation. Where access is withdrawn for a breach of these Terms, or to protect the security or integrity of the service, it may be ended immediately and without notice. Ending your access does not by itself delete your account or your study progress; you may request export or deletion of your data at any time, as described in the Privacy Notice.

Subject to these Terms, IAAA grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use IAAA Vantage for your own legitimate learning and AIGP exam preparation. No ownership in IAAA Vantage or its content transfers to you under this licence.

Ordinary studying — reading, practicing, retaking questions, reviewing your own progress — is always fine. Except where applicable law says otherwise, you agree not to:

• scrape, systematically extract, or bulk-download IAAA Vantage's content or question bank;
• copy, resell, or redistribute IAAA Vantage's materials to others;
• share a single paid or invited account across multiple people;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent access controls or authentication;
• interfere with the security, integrity, or normal operation of the service;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
• use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to harvest content from IAAA Vantage;
• reproduce a substantial portion of IAAA Vantage's content, or systematically extract IAAA Vantage's questions to build a competing question bank;
• use IAAA Vantage's proprietary content to train, fine-tune, or build another commercial AI/ML product without IAAA's written permission;
• remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or
• use IAAA Vantage for any unlawful purpose.

IAAA/IAAA Vantage IP. Subject to third-party rights described below, IAAA Vantage's original explanations, educational structure, independently created practice questions, learning pathways, mastery/scoring mechanisms, original mappings and organization of reference material, interface, software, branding, and other original written materials are owned by or licensed to IAAA.

Third-party IP. Trademarks, standards, laws, regulatory frameworks, source documents, and certification materials referenced within IAAA Vantage remain the property of their respective owners. IAAA claims no ownership over IAPP's intellectual property, including the AIGP Body of Knowledge, exam blueprint, or the "IAPP" and "AIGP" names themselves. What you may and may not do with this material. Ownership, the permissions you have without asking, what needs written permission, and how to raise or report an infringement are governed by the Institute's Copyright & Intellectual Property policy, which applies to IAAA Vantage as a product of the Institute. In short: you may read and link to anything here, quote short extracts with attribution for review, commentary, teaching or research, and describe the approach in your own words. Republishing substantial content, reproducing the curriculum's structure in your own teaching or consulting material, copying the source code, or training a model on this material as a distinguishable body of work all need written permission first. If you believe something here infringes your rights, or you find this work copied elsewhere, the routes for both are set out in that policy.

IAAA Vantage provides educational information about AI governance concepts. It does not provide legal advice, regulatory advice, compliance certification, or professional advice of any kind. Where a decision genuinely matters — a real compliance question, a regulatory filing, a legal risk assessment — obtain qualified professional advice instead of relying on IAAA Vantage.

Using IAAA Vantage does not:

• register you for an IAPP examination;
• confer AIGP certification;
• guarantee your eligibility to sit the exam;
• guarantee that you will pass the exam; or
• predict the actual questions you will see on the real examination.

Parts of IAAA Vantage — including explanations, practice content, and feedback on free-text answers — are created or assisted by AI. AI-generated output can be incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or misleading. Independently verify anything where accuracy genuinely matters to you, especially anything exam-critical or professionally consequential.

IAAA Vantage is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, and changes to the service may occur at any time.

IAAA Vantage relies on the following third-party infrastructure to operate:

• Supabase — authentication (sign-in) and the database that stores your account and learning progress;
• Resend — delivery of sign-in emails;
• Anthropic — AI-assisted feedback and content generation;
• Vercel — hosting the application itself;
• Razorpay — payment processing, once paid access goes live. Razorpay is a licensed payment gateway and handles card, UPI, netbanking, and international card payments. IAAA does not receive or store your card, bank, or UPI credentials at any point.

Your use of IAAA Vantage is also subject to the availability and terms of these providers. See the Privacy Notice for what information each one processes.

IAAA Vantage is currently a free, invite-only beta — no payments are collected today, and none should be assumed. IAAA is preparing paid access, including the ability to pay from outside India, and is publishing the following in advance so none of it is a surprise at checkout.

How payment is taken. When paid access launches, payments will be collected through Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway operating under the Reserve Bank of India's authorisation for payment aggregators, which supports Indian methods (cards, UPI, netbanking) and international cards. An international payment is authorised in the card's own currency and settled to IAAA in Indian Rupees through that gateway's cross-border infrastructure.

IAAA does not receive, see, or store your card, bank, or UPI credentials at any point — those go directly to the gateway, and the security certifications that apply to card data are held by the gateway, not by IAAA. IAAA receives only the fact of a successful payment, the amount, and the account it belongs to.

What paid access is, and what it costs. The price for IAAA Vantage is published by the Institute on its Applied Intelligence page — currently ₹4,999, marked free while IAAA Vantage is in beta. That page is the single published source for the price; this page deliberately does not restate it as a figure of its own, so the two can never drift apart. Paid access is for a defined period of ninety days, which runs as described in Your account above — from the date access is granted, whether or not you sign in. It is not a perpetual licence and it does not renew automatically. The Institute publishes the same ninety-day term alongside the price, so what you are buying is stated at the point of sale as well as here.

Prices and currency. Prices for IAAA Vantage are set in Indian Rupees (INR), which is the currency of the contract and the currency in which any refund is calculated. If you pay with a card issued outside India, your card scheme or bank converts the INR amount into your own currency at their exchange rate, and may add a foreign-transaction or cross-border fee of their own. The amount that appears on your statement can therefore differ from the INR price shown at checkout. That difference is between you and your bank — IAAA neither sets nor receives it, and cannot reimburse it.

Tax. Prices shown are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), consistent with the Institute's Terms of Use §8. This means the price shown is not the amount you pay: applicable tax is added on top of it. The full amount payable, inclusive of tax, will be shown to you before you confirm payment, and will appear on your invoice — you will never be asked to confirm a figure you have not been shown in full.

If you are buying from India, Goods and Services Tax is charged at the applicable rate, currently 18%, and shown as a separate line on your invoice.

If you are buying from outside India, your purchase is treated as an export of services and invoiced zero-rated for Indian GST, under the Institute's Letter of Undertaking. No Indian GST is added to your price. Your invoice carries the declaration that applies to a supply made under a Letter of Undertaking without payment of integrated tax.

You may still be liable for import VAT, GST, sales tax, or a similar charge in your own country; any such tax, and any duty or levy imposed by your jurisdiction, is yours to account for, not IAAA's. If you are buying from outside India, you may separately be liable for import VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar in your own country; any such tax, and any duty or levy imposed by your jurisdiction, is yours to account for, not IAAA's. Confirm with a chartered accountant before charging — the GST treatment of cross-border sales of a digital service (including whether a given sale qualifies as an export of services, and the OIDAR position) depends on facts that have not yet been settled for this product, and is not stated here from assumption.

When your access starts. Access is granted automatically on successful payment, and in practice arrives within moments. Our commitment is within one working day of payment, which matches the Institute's standard for its other programmes. If it has not reached you in that time, write to support@iaaa.academy with the payment reference and it will be granted manually, or refunded in full if it cannot be.

Both your ninety-day access period and your seven-day refund window run from the moment access is actually granted, never from the moment you paid — so a delay on our side can never cost you time you have paid for. The commitment above is a deliberate outer bound rather than a target: it is stated as the longest you should ever wait, not the shortest we expect, so it holds even if an automated step fails overnight.

Invoices and records. A payment receipt or invoice will be issued to the email address on the purchasing account. Transaction records are retained for as long as tax, accounting, and statutory record-keeping law requires, which is longer than the retention that applies to ordinary account data — see the Privacy Notice.

Chargebacks. If something has gone wrong with a payment — a duplicate charge, a payment that succeeded without access being granted, or a charge you do not recognise — contact support@iaaa.academy first. Billing errors are corrected on their own merits, separately from the refund window, and are usually resolved faster directly than through your bank. Where a chargeback is raised without any prior attempt to contact us, IAAA may suspend access to the affected account while the claim is investigated with the payment gateway. Repeated purchase-and-chargeback or purchase-and-refund cycles will be treated as abuse and may result in access being withdrawn without further refund.

IAAA Vantage is a product of the Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™, and refunds for it are governed by the Institute's Refund policy and its Cancellation policy, both of which apply to this product in full — the Cancellation policy states that it covers iaaa.academy "and subdomains," which includes IAAA Vantage. The product-specific version, including the points below and how to make a request, is set out on the IAAA Vantage Refund & Cancellation page.

In summary: once a paid tier launches, you may request a full refund within seven calendar days of purchase, provided no certificate, credential, or assessment result has been issued to you — which for IAAA Vantage means you have not started a mock exam, and you have opened fewer than half the concepts since your purchase. The exact count, the halfway point for your purchase, and your deadline are all shown to you in the app while signed in. The full amount paid is refunded, including any GST collected. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method in Indian Rupees, normally within five to seven working days of approval. You do not need to give a reason. Your access ends when the refund is approved, not when the money reaches you — the two are explained on the Refund & Cancellation page.

Refunds on an international payment. A refund is calculated and issued in Indian Rupees, against the original INR price. Where you paid with a card in another currency, your bank converts that refund back at its own rate on the day it is processed — which will not be the rate that applied on the day you paid. You may therefore receive slightly more or slightly less in your own currency than you were originally charged. As the Institute's policy states, IAAA does not reimburse losses arising from currency conversion, nor fees charged by your own bank or card issuer. This is a consequence of how cross-border card refunds work and is not within IAAA's control.

How this applies to the mock exam. A mock exam attempt produces an assessment result, and so falls under the exclusion above: once you have started a mock exam, the refund window closes for that purchase. This is stated plainly here rather than left to be discovered, because the mock exam is the most substantial thing IAAA Vantage delivers and running it is the clearest signal that the product has been consumed. Practice questions inside a normal study session are not mock exams and do not close the window.

If your local law gives you more. Some countries give consumers buying digital services online a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right that is longer, or less conditional, than the seven-day policy above — this is common in the European Union and the United Kingdom, among others. Where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you a stronger right than this section does, that law applies and IAAA will honour it. Nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce a statutory right you cannot lawfully be asked to give up.

Where anything in this section differs from the Institute's published Refund or Cancellation policies, these IAAA Vantage terms govern purchases made on vantage.iaaa.academy, and the Institute's policies govern everything else. Nothing in these terms reduces a right the Institute's policies give you. So you are never worse off for having read one document rather than the other, and you never have to work out which was updated more recently.

IAAA may suspend or terminate your access for serious abuse, security threats, unlawful activity, infringement of intellectual property rights, misuse of your account, or a material violation of these Terms. Action taken will be proportionate to the issue at hand.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IAAA Vantage is provided on an "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IAAA's total liability arising from your use of IAAA Vantage is limited to the amount you actually paid to IAAA for access to IAAA Vantage in the twelve months before the claim arose. Where access was granted free of charge — as it is for every account during the beta — that amount is nil, and liability is limited to what is commercially reasonable for a product provided at no cost. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory consumer liability that cannot be contracted out of in your jurisdiction.

As set out in Your account above, IAAA is specifically not liable for an access window that lapses unused — this is not an oversight but a deliberate term, since the length of an access window is fixed and disclosed at the time it is granted.

Flagged for formal legal review before paid launch — the amount-paid cap above is the ordinary market default and is now stated so that a cap exists the moment the first payment is taken, rather than leaving the free-of-charge framing to fail silently at that point. It has not had a lawyer's eyes, and a cap expressed this way is not enforceable in every jurisdiction Vantage may now be sold into.

IAAA may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page, and — where the change is significant — communicated through the app or by email. Continuing to use IAAA Vantage after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This follows directly from the operator's GST-registered place of business (below).

If you are a consumer outside India. Many countries give a consumer the right to bring a claim in the courts of their own country of residence, and the benefit of their own country's mandatory consumer-protection law, regardless of what a contract says. Nothing in this section takes that away: where such a law applies to you, it applies in addition to — and, to the extent of any conflict, in place of — the paragraph above. The choice of Indian law is the default position, not an attempt to deprive you of protection you cannot lawfully be asked to give up.

Before starting any formal proceeding, please write to support@iaaa.academy, and if that does not resolve matters, to founder@iaaa.academy, which is the escalation route the Institute's Refund & Cancellation policy also uses. Most disputes are settled faster this way than through a court.

Confirm with counsel before commercial launch — taking international payments materially widens the set of consumer-protection regimes that can reach this product. The carve-out above is written to be safe rather than to be precise, and no jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction review has been done.
